JONATHAN BEACOM is Maltese, and is a full-time professional photographer with over 20 years of experience in a variety of photographic fields though today he mainly specialises in Travel and Stock Photography. His Malta studies are particularly in demand for promoting The Maltese Islands overseas, and his work is published regularly in Travel journals, magazines and brochures. He spends much of his time travelling and taking photographs for his photo library, postcards, calendars and travel books. He has worked in Lisbon, Budapest, Prague, Libya, Turkey and Tunisia amongst other places. The photographs on this site are a selection of shots taken on these trips. His favourite subjects are LANDSCAPES, TRAVEL and AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY (helicopter), as well as photographing CATS for his popular ‘CATS OF MALTA’ Calendar.
